Infertility

Having gone through IVF myself, I understand the immense emotional toll that trying to conceive can take. Though often thought of as a physical challenge, infertility is a deeply personal and often distressing experience that can impact one’s sense of self, relationships, and overall wellbeing. I work to support and empower clients wherever they are in their fertility journeys - whether they’re trying to conceive on their own or with the help of medication, IUI, or IVF, are working toward accepting and celebrating a child-free life, or are experiencing the ups and downs of pregnancy and parenthood after infertility. I also work with clients who are using third-party reproduction techniques such as sperm, egg, and embryo donation or gestational surrogacy.

Using the best available research, I help my clients learn to better manage stress, develop coping skills, and foster emotional resilience. This often involves helping them connect more fully with who they are, and what they value, outside of infertility - which can have a tendency to take over the lives and identities of those going through it. Throughout treatment, I provide a safe and supportive environment in which clients are able to process feelings of grief, fear, and hope surrounding their experience trying to conceive - however that journey plays out.
